Pubs of Oxford was a directory website founded by my friend and I, aimed at providing a comprehensive list of all the pubs in Oxford. Our platform enabled users to apply filters and choose their location, allowing them to easily find pubs that met their specific needs, whether it be a pool table, a breakfast menu or a riverside view.

Our platform also offered local advertisement space for pubs in Oxford, which included job vacancies and events. As the sole copywriter for Pubs of Oxford, I utilised my copywriting skills to help resurrect The Amp, a recently closed pub in Risinghurst, using social media campaigns, advertisement copy, and email marketing to help re-establish it back in the local community.

To ensure that our website provided accurate and relevant information, I developed strong relationships with pub owners and managers, enabling me to produce high-quality blog posts, pub descriptions, and advertisement headlines. This helped us target the right audience and attract more customers to the pubs.
